• As has been done in recent editions, with positive feedback, the teachers coordinating the activity will be able to request to have the statements the day before at noon, to better prepare the activity.
  • A form will be prepared to request it, and a PDF with the statements will be received in due time by email.
  • This possibility is framed within the key idea of the team preparing the activity, which prioritizes that the members of each team reason, debate, exchange personal proposals, and successfully complete the challenges, dedicating as much time as necessary, above the idea of the «sprint». In this sense, we are well aware that, even if the statements are available the day before, the children participating will not know them until the moment of registration. Similarly, we must insist that the people coordinating participation in each center ensure proper work of personal reasoning and debate and monitor that no computer tools inconsistent with this approach are used.
• The registration form will open on the day of the activity at 8 in the morning.  You will find the link on this page.
• Registration must be done by the teacher coordinating participation, and the 8-digit code of the center will be requested. If a center wants to participate with several teams, the last digit will be changed to a letter.
• The registration must be formalized at the same time the team starts its work.
  • Each team will receive a password that will identify them.
  • Linking to this fact, in two statements,  some numerical data depend on the password  assigned at the time of registration, and therefore, registration must have been formalized beforehand to solve them, which must be done exactly when the team starts the activity.
  • This password is also used to send the answers and to know their evaluation.
• We recall some aspects already explained in the documents of Detailed structure  i   Frequently asked questions  about the activity.
  • The activity proposes 10 problems in the «contest» context and 3 bonus problems, independent, designed for teams that have correctly answered the 10 problems.
  • The 10 problems are grouped into three groups (problems 1,2,3,4) (problems 5,6,7,8) (problems 9,10). The answers to the problems in each group must be sent globally. The idea of trial/error and trying answers to individual problems is to be avoided. We believe that this highlights the key idea: debate among team members to send a collectively evaluated answer.
  • For many years the number of attempts for each group of problems was limited to 5, which the organizing committee of the activity considers a reasonable number if we assume that the work idea advocated by the activity is followed. Currently, between attempt 5 and attempt 9, it is still reported whether the answers are correct or not. But from attempt 10 onwards, it is understood that the task does not align with the purpose of the activity.

The last week of April 2027, a joyful mathematical closing day, of the activity will be held at the mmaca , to which some centers with interesting participation in the different calls will be invited.
