Reciprocity agreements
The Catalan Society of Mathematics maintains reciprocity agreements with other mathematical societies or associations.
In general, these agreements provide for exchanging information, promoting or participating in initiatives of common interest, and facilitating members of one society to participate in the activities of the other. In almost all cases, they allow an ordinary member of other societies to become a member of the SCM with a reduced fee and vice versa, so that for ordinary members of the SCM, the fee to become a member of the other society is also reduced.
In most cases, the reduced fee is 50% of the ordinary fee. It is common for conditions regarding the member's place of residence to be required in order to apply the reciprocity reduction.
Below you will find the list of societies with which reciprocities have been established, with benefits for ordinary members of the SCM.

European Mathematical Society (EMS)
Members under reciprocity. You can obtain the fee on the EMS website or by contacting the Secretary of the SCM.
American Mathematical Society (AMS)
Members under reciprocity if residing outside the United States of America.
Sociedad Matemática Mexicana (SMM)
Members under reciprocity. Annual fee: 50% of the regular fee.
Australian Mathematical Society (AustMS)
Members under reciprocity. Annual fee: 50% of the regular fee.
Société Mathématique de France (SMF)
Members under reciprocity if residing outside of France.
London Mathematical Society (LMS)
Members under reciprocity regime, if not residing in the UK. Annual fee: 50% of the ordinary fee.
Česká Matematická Společnost (CMS)
Members under reciprocity. Annual fee: 50% of the regular fee.
Real Sociedad Matemática Española (RSME)
Members under reciprocity.
Catalan Society of Statistics (SoCE)
Members under reciprocity. Annual fee: 50% of the regular fee.
Balearic Society of Mathematics (SBM-XEIX)
Members under reciprocity. Annual fee: 50% of the regular fee.
Federation of Entities for the Teaching of Mathematics in Catalonia (FEEMCAT)
Members of the SCM and members of the FEEMCAT societies receive the same treatment at the conferences.
