The Cangur test is an annual mathematical activity, in the format of an individual competition, promoted by the international association Le Kangourou sans Frontières, which aims to promote mathematics among young people and children through mass participation in a scientific activity, without attempting any selection or comparison between centers or geographical areas.

“The association aims to promote basic mathematical culture by all means, and in particular through the organization of an annual game-competition that will take place on the same day in all participating countries; the objective of this activity is to stimulate and motivate the vast majority of students.”.

The program was hosted by Núria Toril, with the participation of Marta Berini, coordinator of the SCM Cangur committee, Pau Mir and Antoni Gomà, members of the committee, and a teacher and two students from the Institut Santa Eulàlia, in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
