Children and young people from 5th grade of primary school to 2nd year of high school, or intermediate vocational training cycles, have the opportunity to test their mathematical skills by participating in the Kangaroo test through their schools. It is an international activity held on the 3rd Thursday of March.
Optionally, they can enjoy the Kangaroo challenges and learn mathematics by participating in preparation sessions, such as those organized by some universities, free of charge. We provide links to their website, updated information we receive, and contact email addresses.

Mathematics deepening sessions, via the Department of Mathematics of the UAB
In-person sessions aimed at students in the second cycle of ESO. The goal of the sessions goes beyond solving Kangaroo problems: they delve into some mathematical concepts and techniques that, while allowing students to face the tests with greater preparation and solidity, have as their main objective to enjoy and learn by tackling new mathematical challenges.
The sessions for the 2025-2026 academic year will take place on the following Tuesdays, in classroom C5/034 of the Faculty of Sciences at the UAB.
