The Kangaroo Test 2024 of the SCM, the 29th edition in Catalonia, has been successfully carried out. We have gone from 1,313 participants in the first year to 110,400 this year, which can increase to more than 120,000 if we take into account the centres that for various reasons have developed the Kangaroo as a classroom activity.
- On 27 May 2024, at the AXA auditorium, in the Illa building in Barcelona, the prize-giving ceremony of the competition was held. 15 prizes are given per school level, which due to ties in the fifteenth position became 124 prize-winners (list of prizes) and the event culminated with the solemn presentation of the Kangaroo silver pins , a distinction that recognises outstanding overall participation in various editions of the test and that the SCM awards to participants from all the Kangaroo organisations that it supports. This year it has been received by five Catalan students and one from the Valencian Country. Link to a full news item about the prize-giving ceremony.

The Kangaroo 2024 of the SCM has completed its activity. We want to thank the teachers who have collaborated and the entities that have given their support. And to the girls and boys who have participated, if next year they are not yet at University we want to tell them: we await you at the Kangaroo 2025.
- On 2 March the test was held, with a very large number of participants.
- Because the week following the holding of the test was Holy Week, the company that collects the answer sheets from the CRP and does the optical reading of the results could not begin its task until 4 April. The scores obtained by optical reading were published as soon as possible.
- On 27 May the prize-giving ceremony was held.
- On 7 June the sending of mentions by courier service was prepared and a message was sent to the centres about the collection or receipt of the material.
- On 16 June the review task was concluded and the score lists have been raised to definitive. You can consult them in the menu on the left of the Cangur management page.
- From 17 June onwards the centres will be able to download, from the centre area, the diplomas of this group of participants, with an indication of the score and the position obtained in the classification.
The Kangaroo committee of the SCM apologises for the delay in some of these actions and, if applicable, for the procedure that has been followed, but there are a series of circumstances that must be commented on, and so we will do, given that they will affect some aspects of the organisation of the next Kangaroo.
