The Saturday, February 15 the 2nd edition of the Catalan Women's Mathematical Olympiad OMCaF will take place, jointly organized by the Catalan Society of Mathematics and the mathematics faculties of UPC, UAB, and UB.

There are already a good number of girls registered, who will meet at the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics of UPC to take the mathematics problem-solving test and enjoy a full day of activities.

OMCaF is an initiative designed to encourage girls in secondary and high school to participate in a day dedicated to mathematics, focused on discovery, personal growth, and overcoming challenges. The goal is to offer a space where participants can solve mathematical problems, make new friends, meet other girls with the same interest, and explore the world of mathematics in a different, collaborative, and fun way.

The perfect occasion to experience a unique experience that can change your way of seeing mathematics and open up new opportunities in this field.

There are only a few days left to register, until next Friday, February 7!

Teachers, encourage your female students. You must believe in them and push them forward.

Families, support them, without pressure, but opening doors and seeking opportunities!

Girls, go for it and discover your potential!
