The 2025 Kangaroo Tests Terrassa were held successfully on March 20, 2025 at the’Escola Superior d’Enginyeries Industrial, Aeroespacial i Audiovisual de Terrassa (ESEIAAT), a center of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). The event brought together 539 high school students of nine educational centers of Terrassa and Vacarisses, consolidating the city as a benchmark in promoting mathematical thinking.
Registrations for the School of History of Mathematics 2025 are now open Kangaroo Tests 2025 Terrassa are part of the 30th edition of the international competition promoted by the Catalan Society of Mathematics (SCM), which each year brings together thousands of students with the aim of sparking interest in mathematics through solving problems of graded difficulty.

A day beyond numbers
After completing the 30 proposed mathematical challenges, participants were able to attend a series of technological workshops taught by groups of ESEIAAT students, such as MotoSpirit ESEIAAT i UPCSpaceProgram. These workshops showed how mathematics is applied in creating competition motorcycles, nanosatellites, and aerospace engineering projects.
This practical and inspiring component reinforces the goal of the Kangaroo Tests 2025 Terrassa: to demonstrate that mathematics is a fundamental tool, not only for passing exams, but for understanding and transforming the world.
Participation at the Catalan level
In this edition, more than 120,000 students from Catalonia have participated in the Kangaroo contest, making it one of the most massive and anticipated educational activities of the school year. Participation in Terrassa, in particular, has become a notable event in the SCM calendar.
