The Catalan Society of Mathematics (SCM) has made public the resolution of the Sant Jordi 2026 Awards, which recognize outstanding works in the field of mathematics.
In this edition, the Emmy Noether Prize 2026 and the Évariste Galois 2026 Award, have been awarded, along with several mentions and honorable mentions.
Emmy Noether Prize 2026
The jury has awarded the Emmy Noether Prize 2026 to:
Marina Fernàndez i Vilaseca, for the work Stochastic determination of the size of some exceptional sets in analysis, supervised by Juan Jesús Donaire Benito.
Ex aequo mentions
The jury has awarded two mentions ex aequo to:
- Martina Cormand i Bayes, for the work The parametrization method for quasiperiodic invariant circles, supervised by Alex Haro Provinciale.
- Kamil Przybyszewski Albarracín, for the work Bernstein-Sato ideals, supervised by Lei Wu and Josep Àlvarez Montaner (co-supervisor).

Évariste Galois 2026 Award
The Évariste Galois 2026 Award has been awarded to:

- Maria Morella i Giménez, for the work Analytic information encoded in the Bernstein-Sato polynomial of plane branches of genus 1, supervised by Maria Alberich Carramiñana.
Honorable mentions
- Rosa Maria Delicado Moll, for the work Modeling neuronal oscillations and synchronization in brain networks, supervised by Gemma Huguet Casades and Pau Clusella Coberó.
- Pere Llorens i Domingo, for the work The degree of commutativity in group rings, supervised by Enric Ventura Capell.
