The 13-14 July will host the SCM Conference, Mathematics and Covid-19. This is an activity with certification from the GTAF and GCICE teacher training programs via the UPC's ICE.

The conference will be divided into three blocks to offer a broad view of the relationship between mathematics and epidemiological modeling.
Introduction to mathematical models in epidemiology
On Monday afternoon, the 13th, Anna Vilella, Xavier Mora, and Pere Puig will introduce the more epidemiological aspect of mathematical modeling in an informative tone.

On Tuesday morning, the 14th, emphasis will be placed on mathematical research, with the participation of David Alonso, Àlex Arenas, Àngel Calsina, Amanda Fernández-Fontelo, and Sergio Alonso.

El diimarts 14 de juliol a la tarda hi haurà, dues taules rodones on experts comentaran d’una banda, l’estat de la qüestió en la modelització matemàtica de la Covid-19 i, de l’altra, com es pot portar la modelització a l’aula i a la societat en general.
