The award will be presented at the STEM Women Congress Global, which will be held in Barcelona on November 12 and 13.

It is very good news that mathematics is also being recognized, especially in the current context where there is debate about the importance of mathematics education and the various methodologies being used. It is good to highlight the value of mathematics as a basic science and as part of the STEM acronym, since in STEM projects mathematics is often diluted and made invisible. It is also important to show female role models who inspire girls and young women of new generations to pursue mathematics, because the percentage of women mathematicians is decreasing significantly.
