Celebration of the International Day of Mathematics
Next Tuesday, March 14, is the International Day of Mathematics (UNESCO, 2019). For this reason, the Catalan Society of Mathematics invites the entire Catalan mathematical community to the event Celebration of the International Day of Mathematics
The event will also include representatives from institutions, entities, and associations related to mathematics, including research and universities, secondary, primary, and early childhood education.

6:00 PM Welcome to the entities of the Catalan mathematical community present at the event.
6:10 PM Talk: Mathematics for everyone, by Gemma Huguet (professor at UPC-CRM), who will present how mathematics helps us understand the brain.
6:40 PM Conversation: Mathematics Education for Everyone, with
a primary school student and a high school student
