SCM IDM 2023 Conference – Mathematics for Everyone

The SCM has organized on March 25 the SCM IDM 2023 Conference “Mathematics for Everyone”.
   
In-person attendance is being reinstated, with a hybrid format to encourage maximum participation.
The conference will consist of 4 lectures in the morning, a community lunch, and a workshop in the afternoon.

The lectures are aimed at all people interested in the world of mathematics and its applications: teachers of all levels, university teaching and research staff, professionals from the business and scientific outreach sectors, and university or high school students.

 The workshop is especially focused on secondary and high school teachers, not necessarily in mathematics, although it is open to anyone interested. Participation in the entire conference together will certify 15 hours of the GTAF permanent teacher training program (upon prior registration).

The conference is free (with partially funded lunch) for SCM members or secondary school teachers who are institutional members.
