The Catalan Society of Mathematics (SCM), the Catalan Association of Artificial Intelligence (ACIA) and the Catalan Society of Statistics (SoCE) organize the fifth edition of the conference «The role of data», which will take place next Friday, November 22 at the’Institute of Catalan Studies.
This conference, which will start at nine in the morning and last until a quarter to two in the afternoon, will explore the role of data through the experience of professionals facing the effects of climate change. This knowledge is essential for governments and companies to design mitigation and adaptation strategies in the face of its effects.
The celebration of this conference responds to the willingness of the three societies to collaborate in the promotion and dissemination of data analysis as a useful tool at the service of Catalan society and all its scientific, technological, business, and social sectors.
