Of the nine winners of the Catalan Mathematical Olympiad, after the Spanish phase organized by the RSME, four participated in July at the 2023 International Mathematical Olympiad in Japan, along with two young people from Valencia. Ruben Carpenter won the silver medal, and our representatives achieved four bronze medals thanks to Roger Lidon, Darío Martínez, and Jordi Ferré.

Furthermore, this September, three of the Catalans and one from Valencia also participated in the 2023 Iberoamerican Mathematical Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro, where they achieved three gold medals thanks to Roger Lidon, Ruben Carpenter, and Darío Martínez, and one silver medal for Jordi Ferré.

60th Edition of the Catalan Mathematical Olympiad
The Mathematical Olympiad for this 2023-24 academic year, the 60th edition, is already underway. The Catalan Mathematical Olympiad will be on Friday 15, and Saturday, December 16. Information about the registration process will be provided shortly.
