SCM has just signed a reciprocity agreement with one of the most prestigious scientific societies, the London Mathematical Society.
The agreement document was signed at the end of October in a bilingual version using Catalan and English, by the presidents of both societies.
We encourage SCM members interested in becoming members of the LMS to make use of it, and also to encourage colleagues who are LMS members to become members of SCM as well.
In particular, we call on people from the mathematical community originally from our lands, and established in the United Kingdom, to join the SCM.
The London Mathematical Society is a highly prestigious scientific society in the international mathematical field. SCM is now one of the 24 international societies with which the LMS has signed a reciprocity agreement, as shown in the table on its website.
