The CRM has received the Maria de Maeztu excellence distinction. The resolution was published on July 16 by the State Research Agency (AEI).
The ‘Severo Ochoa’ and ‘Maria de Maeztu’ excellence program funds and recognizes research from centers and units, respectively, in any scientific area. This year's program has awarded seven ‘Severo Ochoa’ distinctions and six ’Maria de Maeztu' distinctions out of 17 and 33 respective applications. This is the second time the CRM has received this distinction. The first was in 2015 through BGSMATH.
