On October 22, the ‘White Paper on Mathematics’ was published’
The Ramón Areces Foundation and the RSME have published the ‘White Paper on Mathematics’, an analysis of the situation and impact of mathematics in Spain. This study involved more than 60 experts and covers all areas of mathematics education (from early childhood to university), as well as career opportunities, research, gender perspective, socioeconomic impact, outreach, internationalization, and various mathematics awards.
The’presentation event of the book, held on October 22, featured, among others, the participation of Mireia López Beltrán, a Secondary Education Mathematics teacher, currently at the Institute of Education Sciences of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC).
