Frontiers Science Awards for Catalan researchers

Within the framework of the International Congress of Basic Science #ICBS, the awards were presented  #FrontiersScienceAwards  for the best articles in basic sciences (2018-2022). Among the awardees are the Catalan researchers David Asperó, Xavier Cabré, Xavier Ros-Oton, and Joaquim Serra.

David Asperó and Ralf Schindler received the award for the article
Martin’s Maximum^++ implies Woodin’s axiom (*)
published in Annals of Mathematics (2021). For this same article, they had already received the Hausdorff Medal 2022. On the occasion of this award, an article was published in issue 51 of the SCM/Notícies magazine, where you can find more information about the awarded article. 

Xavier Cabré, Alessio Figalli and Joaquim Serra  and Xavier Ros-Oton were awarded for the article:
Stable solutions to semilinear elliptic equations are smooth up to dimension 9
published in Acta Mathematica (2020).

Alessio Figalli , Xavier Ros-Oton  and Joaquim Serra, also received the award for the article
Generic regularity of free boundaries for the obstacle problem
published in Pub. Mathématiques IHÉS (2020).
