The SCM information session is an open telematic meeting organized by the Catalan Society of Mathematics (SCM) to present the actions and projects developed by the society. The session will be held Wednesday, December 10 at 5:00 PM and is aimed at both members and all people interested in the activities of the SCM.
The goal is to clearly explain what the SCM does and what services and initiatives it promotes in various areas. The entity has a broad range of activities, including actions related to the university and research fields, as well as projects aimed at the pre-university level, young people, teachers, and society in general. Cross-cutting elements such as awards, publications, and internationalization will also be addressed.
After the welcome, the session will be structured into two parts:

Actions and projects focused on the university and research field

Initiatives linked to pre-university education and outreach activities.
Although it is primarily a descriptive session, there will be a final space for asking questions and sharing comments.
