The prize Mathematics and Society was established in 2008 by the Ferran Sunyer i Balaguer Foundation, with the aim of stimulating the presence of mathematics in the media.
This year's winner is Antoni Gomà i Nasarre, for his dedication over 25 years to organizing the Kangaroo tests from the Catalan Society of Mathematics. Our most sincere congratulations.
