The Catalan mathematical community is celebrating, due to several awards that have highlighted the excellence and relevance of mathematical research in Catalonia.
For this reason, a recognition ceremony will be held for the awardees of the Catalan mathematical community, members of the Catalan Society of Mathematics.
The event will include the participation of the Minister of Research and Universities, Ms. Núria Montserrat, and the presidency of the Institute of Catalan Studies.
The following individuals who have received awards and appointments have been invited: Xavier Tolsa, Eva Miranda, Claudi Alsina, Pilar Bayer, Marta Sanz-Solé, Carme Torras, Xavier Ros-Oton, Marcel Guàrdia, Xavier Cabré, Joaquim Ortega Cerdà, Gabriel Navarro, and David Asperó, members of the universities UB, UAB, UPC, UV, and UEA, also affiliated with CRM and ICREA.
There will also be a mention of the awardees within the Sant Jordi 2025 awards poster of the Institute of Catalan Studies and other recent awards for young people.
