In November 2018, at the general assembly, the board of the SCM must be renewed.
All SCM members received the following email regarding the renewal of the SCM.
Dear SCM members,
the years go by quite quickly (more than we think) and this November there will be elections for the SCM board. It is therefore time to make way for a president and a new candidacy for the Board/SCM to take over from the current one. The last three SCM boards have been chaired by:
Carles Casacuberta (UB) 2002-06
Carles Perelló (UAB) 2006-10
Joan Solà-Morales (UPC) 2010-14
[Xavier Jarque (UB) 2014-18]
As you well know, the SCM is a society with great activity and needs periodic renewal to continue leading the project with enthusiasm. At this moment, there are many exciting activities and projects that abundantly show the vitality of the Catalan mathematical community.
We encourage all of you to think and especially to promote possible candidacies.
