László Lovász
Dr. László Lovász receives the Hypatia European Science Prize
Award ceremony of the (first) Hypatia European Science Prize, granted by the Barcelona Knowledge Hub of the Academia Europaea (AE-BKH) to Dr. László Lovász, mathematician and president of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, in recognition of his career dedicated to the highest level of international research, to mathematics as a scientific discipline at the service of society, and to scientific freedom. During this event, Prof. Lovász will deliver a lecture related to his research career, titled “Graph Theory – from puzzles to a new paradigm«.
The event will take place on February 5 at 5:00 PM in the Saló de Cent of the Barcelona City Council, with the presence of the city's mayor.
