The Norwegian Academy of Sciences and Letters has awarded the Abel Prize to mathematicians László Lovász and Eötvös Loránd of the Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics (ELKH, MTA Institute of Excellence) and the University in Budapest, Hungary and Avi Wigderson of the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, USA, respectively.
