Call for ESTALMAT 2022

We announce the call for the selection process for the twentieth promotion of Estalmat-Catalonia (2022-2024) Objective of the ESTALMAT project: The ESTALMAT project aims to stimulate the special ability and interest in Mathematics of Catalan students born in 2009 or 2010. Activities: Saturdays during the school period of the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics (FME) of the UPC, in Barcelona. Registration deadline: until May 25, 2022 The selection process will be carried out in two phases: Selection test. Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the cities of Barcelona, Lleida, Palafrugell, and Reus. The test will consist of four problems for which a reasoned explanation of the solution path is required. The results of the test are only used to pre-select the final group, and therefore the obtained results will not be made public. Second phase which consists of personal interviews with the families of the pre-selected students based on the evaluation of the written test.
