Four Sundays, four levels, one challenge
The Catalan Society of Mathematics (SCM) this course is organized by Mathematical Time Trial 2025, an online contest that combines speed, ingenuity and a passion for numbers. The tests will take place on Sundays in October from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will be adapted to different educational levels.
The schedule is as follows:
-
October 5: students up to 6th grade of primary school.
-
October 12: students up to 2nd year of ESO.
-
October 19: students up to 4th year of ESO.
-
October 26: students up to 2nd year of high school.
Operation and participants
Each time trial consists of 15 multiple-choice problems to be solved in 50 minutes. Correct answers earn points, and speed is rewarded with extra ranking points.
Although each session is designed for a specific level, younger students or older users may also participate in an open contest format.
Pre-registration and training
Pre-registration is now open through the official website contrarellotge.scm.cat. Registered participants will receive all updated information and, in addition, will have access to past editions for training before the competition.
This activity is part of the SCM's initiative to offer free and online mathematical challenges aimed at all ages, with the goal of fostering interest in mathematics in a fun and motivating environment.
