Event framed within the project Small Mathematical Challenges, basis of big ideas, co-organized with the Barcelona City Council within the framework of educational services. The event marks the closing of the project that began last December.
The activity will consist of an in-person meeting with students from 5th grade of primary school from the participating schools, with a mathematical challenges fair and problem-solving dynamics in the cloister of the Institute of Catalan Studies. Afterwards, at the Prat de la Riba Hall, a brief presentation will be given by student representatives from each school, followed by a conversation with students and teachers about their experience with mathematics.
The event will close with an institutional address.
