Call for 40 Kovalevskaya Grants for the participation of young researchers in ICM2022

These grants are an initiative of the organizing committee of ICM2022 (International Congress of Mathematicians 2022), which will take place in Saint Petersburg from July 6 to 14, 2022. Their aim is to promote the participation of young researchers in this international congress. The grants cover local expenses (registration, accommodation, and meals) as well as facilitating visa procedures. Travel expenses are generally not covered. CEMAT, as an organization affiliated with the IMU, is responsible for selecting the beneficiaries of the Kovalevskaya grants. CEMAT has been allocated up to 40 grants and offers 10 grants to cover travel expenses of up to 400 euros, in the case of a justified reason. To apply for these grants, you must either be studying for a PhD in mathematics or hold a PhD in mathematics, provided that the PhD was obtained no more than 6 years ago. To apply for the grant, you must register for ICM2022, fill out the online form Kovalevskaya Grant Form, obtain a letter of recommendation, which must be sent by its author to  cemat.kovalevskaya@gmail.com and a CV of the candidate is also required.  The deadline for submitting applications is November 21, and the resolution will be made public at the beginning of December.
