The Role of Data in the Biomedical World
It will take place on November 18 at the IEC as a continuation of the conference “The role of data” organized by the SCM and the SoCE and held at the IEC on November 14, 2019.
The SCM, SoCE, and ACIA (in collaboration with the CRM) have jointly organized the conference The Role of Data in the Biomedical World with the intention of fostering collaboration between different disciplines, such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Artificial Intelligence, and the biomedical world, with the aim of learning quantitative techniques to improve the analysis of massive data.
This is the second conference dedicated to The Role of Data, the first took place at the IEC on November 14, 2019. The organizing entities have the future intention of continuing these conferences.
The conference will consist of two parts, a more practical one in the morning Tools and in the afternoon the session Challenges, with a more theoretical nature, where the quantitative challenges of the moment will be presented in lecture format.
The organizers of this conference have been, in alphabetical order, Llorenç Badiela (SoCE), Eloi Puertas (ACIA), Aleix Ruiz de Villa (SCM), and Josep Vives (SCM).
