We announce the call<\/span>for the selection process of the student group for the seventeenth cohort of\u2019Estalmat<\/span> -Catalonia (2019-2021)<\/p>\n

Project objective ESTALMAT<\/span><\/strong>: The project ESTALMAT<\/span> aims to stimulate the special ability and interest in Mathematics of Catalan students born in 2006 or 2007<\/p>\n

Activities<\/strong>: Saturdays during the school period from October to May of the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics (FME) of the UPC, in Barcelona, with a total of 22 sessions. These activities will be free for the selected boys and girls, whose parents or guardians must commit to dropping them off and picking them up at the mentioned times.<\/p>\n

The selection test will be on Saturday, June 1, 2019, in Reus, Lleida, Palafrugell, and Barcelona at 10 a.m. The test will last 2 hours. Four problems will be proposed, which must be answered in full detail.<\/p>\n
