The 2025 Kangaroo Tests Terrassa<\/strong>\u00a0were held successfully on\u00a0March 20, 2025<\/strong>\u00a0at the\u2019Escola Superior d\u2019Enginyeries Industrial, Aeroespacial i Audiovisual de Terrassa (ESEIAAT)<\/strong>, a center of the\u00a0Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya (UPC)<\/strong>. The event brought together\u00a0539 high school students<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0nine educational centers<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0Terrassa and Vacarisses<\/strong>, consolidating the city as a benchmark in promoting mathematical thinking.<\/p>\n

Registrations for the School of History of Mathematics 2025 are now open\u00a0Kangaroo Tests 2025 Terrassa<\/strong>\u00a0are part of the 30th edition of the international competition promoted by the\u00a0Catalan Society of Mathematics (SCM)<\/strong>, which each year brings together thousands of students with the aim of sparking interest in mathematics through solving problems of graded difficulty.<\/p>\n

    A day beyond numbers<\/h3>\n

    After completing the 30 proposed mathematical challenges, participants were able to attend a series of\u00a0technological workshops<\/strong>\u00a0taught by groups of ESEIAAT students, such as\u00a0MotoSpirit ESEIAAT<\/strong>\u00a0i\u00a0UPCSpaceProgram<\/strong>. These workshops showed how mathematics is applied in creating competition motorcycles, nanosatellites, and aerospace engineering projects.<\/p>\n

    This practical and inspiring component reinforces the goal of the\u00a0Kangaroo Tests 2025 Terrassa<\/strong>: to demonstrate that mathematics is a fundamental tool, not only for passing exams, but for understanding and transforming the world.<\/p>\n

    Participation at the Catalan level<\/h3>\n

    In this edition, more than\u00a0120,000 students from Catalonia<\/strong>\u00a0have participated in the Kangaroo contest, making it one of the most massive and anticipated educational activities of the school year. Participation in\u00a0Terrassa<\/strong>, in particular, has become a notable event in the SCM calendar.<\/p>\n
