This news article publishes results from the 2024 Kangaroo statistics and discusses other aspects.<\/p>\n

We provide data on participation. As shown in the image at the top of the page, schools from 40 Catalan counties, as well as one school from Andorra and one from Baix Cinca in the Franja de Ponent, participated in the direct organization by the SCM. On the same day, with the support of the SCM, the Kangaroo test was held as a contest in the Valencian Country and as a mathematics outreach and participation activity in the Balearic Islands.<\/p>\n

Essentially, it can be reported that, although as previously stated in the call the SCM Kangaroo committee noted the exceptional date (March 21, the penultimate school day before Easter), the level of participation is essentially the same as last year, and since the number of registered schools has increased, we believe the Kangaroo continues its successful path, which began nearly 30 years ago.<\/p>\n

It is important to highlight that the geographical diversity of participation is maintained when analyzing the distribution of prizes (illustrated graphically in the following image) and mentions.<\/p>\n
