Bebras Olympiad: challenge your computational thinking!<\/h2>\n

From November 10 to 14, 2025, the\u2019Bebras Olympiad<\/strong>, a\u00a0<\/strong>contest that proposes computational thinking challenges<\/strong> for primary, secondary, and high school students, without requiring prior programming knowledge.<\/p>\n

It originates from the\u2019International Bebras Challenge,<\/a> an international activity carried out annually by millions of young people in 85 countries, and will be promoted as a contest in Catalan as a joint initiative of the Catalan Informatics Olympiad Association (OICAT), the Catalan Society of Mathematics, and the Catalan Society of Technology, with support from the Barcelona School of Informatics of the UPC and the Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (EHU, University of the Basque Country) as representatives of Bebras in Catalonia and the Spanish territory, respectively.<\/p>\n

Bebras is an online test<\/strong> in which students must solve, in 45 minutes, a series of short and clever problems<\/strong> that stimulate logic, creativity, and reasoning ability. The challenges present situations close to computer science and mathematics, but in a way that does not require programming knowledge, instead stimulating analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n

The test is taken individually online for 45 minutes at the educational center<\/strong>, and each school can choose the time that best suits them within the established period.<\/p>\n
